Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ChordGenAI, including the website at chordgenai.io and the chord-analysis service offered through it. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Account

You need an account to use most of the service. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, to register.

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact support@chordgenai.io immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree to use ChordGenAI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not:

• Submit audio you do not have the right to upload or analyse.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract our models or pipeline.
• Use the service to violate intellectual-property rights or distribute infringing material.
• Interfere with the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, or share account credentials with others.
• Use the service in a way that places undue load on our infrastructure or disrupts other users.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the option you select on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Applicable taxes will be added at checkout where required. We may change prices for future billing periods on reasonable notice.

Refunds

If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge by emailing support@chordgenai.io. No questions asked. Refunds outside the 14-day window are at our discretion.

iReal Pro™ trademark notice

iReal Pro™ is a trademark of its respective owner. ChordGenAI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by iReal Pro™. References to iReal Pro™ describe interoperability only — chord charts produced by ChordGenAI can be exported in a format compatible with the iReal Pro™ application.

Limitation of liability

ChordGenAI is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The chord charts produced by the service are best-effort estimates, not guaranteed transcriptions, and you should verify them against the source recording before relying on them in performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChordGenAI and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or where we are required to do so by law. Where reasonable, we will notify you and give you an opportunity to remedy the issue before suspension.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the product. Continued use of the service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
